Terms of Use

1. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use our apps on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, as permitted by the App Store's usage rules.

2. In-app purchases & virtual currency

Our apps offer optional in-app purchases, processed by Apple through StoreKit:

• Remove Ads — a one-time, non-consumable purchase that permanently disables ads on your Apple ID.
• Welcome Pack — a one-time, non-consumable purchase that permanently disables ads on your Apple ID and additionally grants a one-time bonus of virtual currency (Gems and Coins).
• Gems — a consumable virtual currency, sold in fixed packs, spendable in-app on things like extra hints and shop items.
• Coins — a free, non-purchasable virtual currency earned through gameplay.

Gems and Coins have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be redeemed, exchanged, transferred, or sold for real money or any value outside the app, are non-refundable except as required by law or Apple's policies, and may only be used within the app that issued them. We may adjust prices, quantities, or availability of virtual currency or purchasable items at any time, without affecting purchases already completed.

All payments are billed and processed by Apple. Refund requests must go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com; refunds are granted according to Apple's policies and applicable consumer protection law (including your statutory withdrawal rights under EU/Czech consumer law where applicable).

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app except as permitted by law; use cheats, bots, exploits, or unauthorized third-party software to gain an unfair advantage (e.g. on leaderboards); interfere with the app's servers or other users' use of the app; or use the app for any unlawful purpose.

4. Intellectual property

All content, trademarks, and designs within our apps (including the Yasumi Studio and Yasumi Sudoku names, logos, and design system) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that ownership to you.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

Our apps are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Yasumi Studio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the app will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

7. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence. Any dispute not resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Czech Republic, subject to applicable consumer protection rules.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
